In addition to providing direct services to DVERT clients, DVERT offers support to local community agencies through domestic violence education and training. DVERT also has the distinction of being a VAWO National Demonstration Site and a COPS Community Policing/Domestic Violence Training Test Site, enabling it to provide assistance to other communities seeking to form multi-disciplinary responses to domestic violence.
