This NIJ funded evaluation of the DVERT program took place in partnership
with Dr. Craig Uchida from 21st Century Solutions, a research
company based out of Silver Spring, Maryland. The study has two primary focuses, evaluating the collaborative
efforts between DVERT partner agencies and evaluating the victim
satisfaction within the DVERT program.
To accomplish this, a sample of DVERT staff and staff from DVERT
partner agencies were interviewed, as well as a sample of victims who
participated in the program. In addition, DVERT files were analyzed to determine average length of DVERT
involvement.
